What does my donation support?

Your donations are used for a variety of needs from purchasing necessary life-saving equipment to offering a diabetes care clinic to charity care. As a non-profit healthcare organization, we depend on the generosity and support of our community every year.

  • Charity Care for a grandfather who can’t afford help.
  • Rehabilitation for a teen with a sports injury.
  • Mammograms for a mother of two.
  • Your donation to our annual fund will be used thoughtfully and to help those in the community with need.

Annual Fund

Support where it is most needed.  Unrestricted giving allows the Hospital’s leadership the greatest flexibility in directing funds to areas of greatest current need.

Endowment Fund

Gifts to help build the Hospital’s endowment are always welcome because they help support the hospital in perpetuity.  Such gifts may be made to the unrestricted endowment or can be used to create a Named Fund within the endowment.  Endowment gifts may be restricted by donors for special donor-designated purposes consistent with the mission of the Hospital.  In such instances, donors are encouraged to contact the Development Office to discuss their intentions in order to assure that the Hospital can honor the donors’ wishes and will receive maximum benefit from their gift.

Capital/Facility Improvements

State of the art life-saving equipment and facilities are essential to a modern, effective healthcare organization. If you are interested in discussing our current plans and needs, please contact Gaye LaCasce, Senior Director of Development and Community Engagement at Gaye.LaCasce@VRH.org or (603) 542-1837

Charity Care

We are committed to serving every patient in need. Your donation to support charity care can help those who cannot afford to pay due to a variety of individual circumstances.
