River Valley Associates

Valley Regional Hospital offers quality outpatient counseling and psychotherapy services through River Valley Associates (RVA), located on the hospital campus at 241 Elm Street.

RVA is staffed by licensed clinical social workers, providing individual and marital therapy to address a variety of emotional and personal difficulties such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, adjustment to life tranistions,substance abuse disorders, work related issues, Deborah Weatherby, LCSW/ACSW, is the Director and lead Social Worker providing outpatient and Employee Assistance Program services. Ms. Weatherby received her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of South Florida and Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Social Work (BSW) from Boston University.

Ms. Weatherby also obtained the Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) certification, which evaluates workers who have violated a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol program regulation and makes recommedations concerning education, treatment, follow-up testing and aftercare.
