Cardio / PulmonaryThe Cardiopulmonary Department consists of Registered Respiratory Therapists who perform diagnostic testing and administer treatment for deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the cardiopulmonary and neurological systems.
Clinical Services The Clinical Service provides mechanical ventilation, continuous positive airway pressure, airway management, delivery of aerosolized medications, bronchopulmonary hygiene, arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, oxygen administration, and other clinical aspects of respiratory care. Pulmonary Function Testing Pulmonary function tests are a group of tests done to evaluate the function of your lungs. These tests measure how much and how easily air moves in and out of your lungs. Cardiac Stress Testing
One way your doctor can see if chest pain is a sign of coronary artery disease. A stress test can also predict the chance for future heart attacks in a person who has suffered a first heart attack; it can determine general fitness and can detect some heart rhythm problems.
