Valley Regional Primary Care Physicians

Valley Regional Hospital began operating Valley Regional Primary Care Physicians (VRPCP), an outpatient medical practice in Newport, NH, in January 2009. VRPCP is located in the previous Scarlett Drug location at 17 Main Street.

The property landlord, Lake Sunapee Bank, contracted with Bruss Construction of Bradford, NH to renovate the former retail location. VRPCP now has a patient waiting area, five exam rooms, doctors' offices, nurse station, two ADA-compliant bathrooms, front welcome space, laboratory room and staff break area.

 

VRPCP offers a much-needed blend of internal and family medicine with Dr. John West and Roberta Thomas, APRN, conveniently located in an easily accessible location on Main Street in Newport.

Elaine Johnson, APRN, has returned to serve patients in the greater Newport area.  Ms. Johnson previously  

worked for Valley Regional Hospital, serving Newport area patients from 1997-2000 before moving out of the area

Obstetrics & Gynecological Services now available at Valley Regional Primary Care Physicians (VRPCP)!! 

Women in the greater Newport community can access obstetrical and gynecological services at Valley Regional Primary Care Physicians with Dr. Michael Ritondo, FACOG. While Dr. Ritondo will continue serving patients at Associates of Medicine in Claremont, the new OB/GYN services offered at VRPCP will allow hometown services in Newport on Mondays, 9am-12pm.
