Some people enter the program after a hospital stay, and others may be referred by their primary care physician or pulmonologist.

pre- and post-lung transplant, pulmonary fibrosis, cystic fibrosis, and other pulmonary diseases.
Program Goals

- Decrease episodes of shortness of breath
Does insurance cover Pulmonary Rehabilitation?
Medicare may cover Pulmonary Rehabilitation for patients with COPD. Other insurances may also cover the costs for this and other lung conditions.
What happens after I finish the program?
Continue to exercise and use the techniques you’ve learned during the program. Staff may assist with recommendations for in-home services, such as oxygen delivery. Individuals can also choose to continue guided exercise through our Rehabilitation Extension Program, held at the Claremont Savings Bank Community Center.
